Deep Bay Center was founded in 1996 when a generous benefactor donated the entire site so that the West shore of Flathead Lake would have an education center in which to hold seminars, workshops, classes, retreats, and conferences. She felt there was a great need for this area to have a non-denominational, spiritual retreat and education center. Our mission is to bring her dream into reality. Deep Bay Center is unique in that it is rare to find a spiritual retreat center that is not affiliated with a church. We are open to all faiths and all beliefs.

Deep Bay Center,Inc., is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a peaceful place to be refreshed and renewed mentally, physically, and spiritually. The programs we provide and those we encourage to be offered here reflect the values of universal peace and respect.

After visiting Deep Bay Center, Inc., people often find their lives changed in remarkable ways. Not only does the Center provide a restful environment for self-study, individuals also are encouraged to broaden their horizons and explore new possibilities that challenge outdated beliefs.

Deep Bay Center, Inc. reflects the values of a wide variety of people. They demonstrate these values by supporting us with donations and by volunteering their time. These gifts provide vital resources for activities and projects that are not sustained through tuition and housing fees and therefore depend on philanthropic support.
